Dinner at Hennie Fan Richt, just a stone's throw away, was a true gastronomic journey, reflecting the region's flavors impeccably. The hotel's ambiance seamlessly blends historical charm with modern comforts. Despite attending a wedding nearby, the staff's thoughtful gesture of providing a quieter room ensured a good night's rest. De Rige's proximity made it convenient for a nightcap, reflecting the vibrant local scene. Overall, Waag offers a unique experience for discerning travelers, blending Dutch hospitality with culinary innovation seamlessly. When in Makkum, indulge in the local flavors and culinary delights that this cozy retreat has to offer. A hidden treasure for food enthusiasts like me.
